What to do about my sadness?

See Below: I"m sorry you're going through that. Establish small, achievable goals. Try to identify things that you can control and things you cannot control. Work on things that you can control, and let go of things that you can't. Establish routines for yourself-- it helps make environment more predictable. Do relaxation, self-care, sleep hygiene. Find a therapist to help guide you through the process.

DEPRESSION: Get an evaluation from a psychiatrist to help identify what depression means to you and whatever else may be bothering you. Consider recommendations for medication if any are given. Get a referral for a reputable psychotherapist to speak with. Meds and therapy combined are most optimal; no just one or the other.
