Ankle Pain: Try taking an over the counter antiinflammatory medication (if you're relatively healthy enough) to pre-emptively stop the pain from occuring and take one afterward. Stretch the calf muscles and strengthen the proprioception of the ankle with one legged exercises. Also, use a brace during the workout and hydrate prior to working out. Lastly, get a good night's sleep and eat well.
