R U following Dr?: If your broken ankle is in plaster, you are probably in a cast. Are you supposed to be on your feet standing? You need to call your doctor. The ankle may have to be re-examined and the cast may need to be reapplied. Don't wait until your return appointment, talk to your doctor's office.
