I have broke my ankle 5 weeks ago but triped yesterday couldi still damage it when its in plaster?

Possible: Depends on how severely to stressed ankle while tripping. Obviously, the cast is helpful in providing stability and protecting area. Has any pain ensued after this? If any doubt about anything, consult with your doctor.
