Finger dislocation: Use athletic tape and buddy tape your small finger to your ring finger for about 3-4 weeks to protect it and get it moving. The swelling and pain will subside over time, but you need to get the joint moving.

Swelling is common : After dislocation but a fracture dislocation with subluxaiton (imperfect position ) of the joint, a tendon or ligament tear that needs further treatment or even swelling that interferes with return of normal motion can make recovery more complex. Seek treatment with a hanf surgeon, many dislocations ar not as simple as they are made out to be!
