I have had a cough for the past 3 days and its starting to get worse, and now i'm losing my voice. i'm on prozac (fluoxetine). what can i take to make it better?

Over the counter med: Since it is only 3 days old, you likely have a viral illness. This can also cause laryngitis. Stay hydrated, try a humidifier to keep mucus thin. Some over the counter cough medicines can help. If you are not getting better after 7-10 days from start, then you should see your doctor--or if there is triouble breathing, high fevers, or you feel much sicker than a regular viral illness.
