Probably yes: If you engaged in these sports prior to hemiarthroplasty, then you should be able to, after finishing a complete course of rehabilitation. Good rehab with progressive activities in a home program with periodic monitoring will help. Ask the surgeon -- he/she should be able to give you the best answer.

It is possible: But i advise patients to not be overtly aggressive after any prosthesis. The chances of you damaging the prosthesis is very low. The possibility of damaging soft tissues and causing increased stress to the bones holding the prosthesis is higher. It depends on the prosthesis utilized as well.
