Rotator cuff rehab: Shoulder pain during overhead activity is rotator cuff impingement and tendon degeneration until proven otherwise. Classic. Avoid painful abducted shoulder positions (that is, anything with elbows out to sides). Do cuff and scapula muscle strengthening until normal. Try a bursal injection. Mri. May need arthroscopy if nothing else works. Avoid all that causes grinding, popping, or pain.
