Mid clavicle line : Find your mid clavicular point and draw a line down to your pelvic inguinal ligament. Yes your liver will be on this line and physicians measure liver edge down from the lower rib cage to where to liver edge stops along the mid-clavicular line. Let your physician demonstrate this line when you visit him or her.
