Probably not: Since the prior pain has resolved (and a good thing) and the other developed in similar time frame, it is likely that the pain is caused from some fluid backed up behind the eardrum from some recent allergies/ congestion. If the pain persists or worsens, your family physician can help you out, but most likely this will go away on its own. Using a nondrowsy antihistamine may make it leave quicker.
