Retainers: Retainers are meant to keep teeth in place after orthodontic treatment until they stabilize, not move teeth. If your teeth are moving you should return to your orthodontist to find out why they have moved. It may be easily corrected and new retainers made, or it may be more serious such as bone loss from periodontal (gum) disease.

Use retainer.: If your retainer still fit, even little bit painfull, keep to use it. If it hurt a lot, you have to make a new one.

What you should do:: It's like calling your physician to ask about what to do after being treated for some medical problem two years earlier. It's even worse as we were not your treating doctor. If you want an accurate answer & some good advice, then please go back to your orthodontist to evaluate both your bite\ tooth position now, along with how wearing your retainer will effect things.Hopefully you can use it again.
