Tooth movement: If your retainer doesn't fit correctly, you may be doing more harm than good in trying to force it into place. Let your orthodontist take a look.

Retainer doesn't fit: Bring your retainer with you to the Orthodontist who fabricated it for you. He\she will determine whether or not it should be adjusted, worn or remade.

See an orthodontist: He/she might be able to adjust the retainer so it can fit again properly. Good luck.

So sad: Do not wear retainer until you are reevaluated, can do more harm than good. Immediately call your treating Dentist or Orthodontic Specialist. You may need to have retainer adjusted or remade, or you may need retreatment. Important that you be seen ASAP.
