Dosages vary: Certainly some individuals target symptoms require more than 60 mg/ day. Some require less. It is totally individualized dosing. If it wears off over a period of months...I would question the diagnosis. Differential includes bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, and ptsd.

Adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine): I would not advise that, knowing that you have high blood pressure. Consult your doctor to look into other add on medications such as Clonidine or Kapvay or tenex (guanfacine).
