Yes: Pediatricians are trained to treat ADHD with Adderall. If your pediatrician prefers you might get a referral to a pediatric neurologist.

If indicated: Adderall and similar drugs are controlled substances. These are closely monitored from the point of creation to the end user by the feds and state. A doctor who has requested & been granted permission to prescribe these drugs can do so, whether he is a GP,FP, pediatrician or other specialist. They are required to have a record justifying use and regular follow up.
