Yes / no: Normally in the mouth the stitches are left for seven days after the extraction. Sometimes your stitches may come loose earlier. This may not be a great problem but you need to call your dentist and have them look at the area.

Yes: This is quite common. You are probably due to have the stitches removed in a couple of days anhywahy. If the tags bother you, get to see your dentist sooner.

Not Uncommon: Many surgeons (me included) use resorbable surtures that will dissolve on their own. Depending on your diet and hygiene instructions provided by your dentist/surgeon, it is not uncommon for a suture lose a resorbable suture at 5 days.
