A member asked:

I have pain in my chest area on one side just below my ribs. it mostly hurts when i walk / move. any ideas?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

More info needed: This symptom is nondiagnostic without other information. It could be caused by inflammation/strain of an abdominal muscle or rib cage muscle. On the right side liver is located and the spleen is on the left side. Your physician will need to obtain more history and examine these areas in order to make a diagnosis and order any appropriate tests.
