A year ago my father ate cereal with mice or rat droppings maybe urine in it didn't realize at the time would he have leptospirosis now and not know?

Leptospirosis: He could have had a mild case of Leptospirosis and never even known it. But, no, he would not be having active disease now from contact with infected urine a year ago. Diagnosis is made with antibodies.
