Can adhd prevent you from getting a job?

ADHD and jobs: Untreated adhd, may interfere with job performance. However, some with adhd are successful at multitasking. As long as your academic performance and references or job references indicate good job performance, adhd alone should not interfere with getting a job. If there is any indication of a problem getting a job, seek treatment for the adhd.

No: However, untreated adhd can cause poor performance at the job. If you take medications and are required to take a urine drug test make sure you notify your employer and get a note from your doctor. Amphetamines are detectable in urine drug screens
