Try several ways: Ask at a doctor's office. Also, there are smoking cessation clinics and specialists who use a variety of approaches including prescription medications. There are special gums. There is hypnosis. There are probably support groups. Experts say that a combination of strategies works better than a single method to stop smoking.

Quit smoking: Also work with your physician on medical detox. With zyban, nicoderm (nicotine patch) patches & other remedies to help come off of cravings.
