That is likely.: It would be best to start by seeing your physician. He or she can assess you medically for underlying causes of your anxiety that need to be addressed. Your physician might prescribe you medication for your anxiety/ panic or recommend that you see a psychiatrist. But i would not count on a specific medication being prescribed. Please don't forget about talking therapy. It is important.
