Depends: On exact diagnosis. Laser lead extraction of pacemaker leads is pretty safe. Lasertmr heart revasculariazion is done in high risk situations along with coronary bypass commonly. Full risk, benefit, options should be part of any pre op preparation . Other personal risks can be decision makers.
