Ablation?: Not sure exactly what procedure you are asking about. Maybe an ablation for atrial fibrillation or other arrhythmia? Those are generally quite safe.

Heart disease: The kind of laser surgery and the enlarged heart problem specific to the patient and their condition would enable the question to be answered with more likelihood of being useful. In general the procedures we do with lasers are relatively low risk but one needs to know the individual patients' specifics.
