You are past the age: Generally schizophrenia is recognized in young adulthood or late teens. It is possible to have psychotic symptoms arise in older people, but they'd probably not be schizophrenia related. See a psychiatrist to describe the symptoms that concern you.

Schizophrenia: Firstly, do not diagnose yourself. Get a full psychiatric evaluation and inquire about medication options to control hallucinations and other symptoms. Also get a referral to a reputable psychotherapist who specializes in psychotic disorders. DO IT TODAY.
