Could you explain what is schizophrenia and what are some symptoms?

Schizophrenia: Schizophrenia is a group of brain disorders that make people interpret reality abnormally. It's usually chronic, but can have acute worsening. There can be hallucinations, delusions, difficulty speaking and organizing thoughts, thought disorder, social withdrawal, neglect of personal hygiene, trouble paying attention ; remembering, etc. Suicidal thoughts can be intense. Hallucinations: By definition, schizophrenia is about psychosis. Psychosis means the patient is getting external stimuli from the environment through one or more of his or her five senses, that does not objectively exist.
