It is unlikely: The onset for schizophrenia is usually in the late teens for men and early 20's for women. Having ptsd usually doesn't cause hallucinations, delusions, altered speech patterns, and other major symptoms of schizophrenia. However, ptsd is a serious condition it its own right and the severe traumatic anxiety can seem like paranoia in some cases. Work with your doctor and fully discuss it.

Not likely.: PTSD May present with severe psychotic symptoms such as auditory hallucinations, paranoia but generally having a diagnosis of PTSD will not predispose you to schizophrenia. You should however Ensure that you are in treatment for your PTSD to ensure that you are adequately managing your symptoms so as to prevent chronic PTSD bad refractory symptoms.
