Did it rupture?: Subarachnoid hemorrhage from aneurysm rupture causes death or brain damage. This damage may be mild with some cognitive changes, chronic headaches, disturbances of your sleep cycle, all the way to coma or paralysis or blindness. Unruptured aneurysms may present with cranial nerve dysfunction such as double vision etc. See your neurosurgeon for details on this.
