Could be: If there are complications when you are away, like dry socket, excessive pain, bleeding, etc, your trip will be ruined. There are usually no post operative complications, but you never know. And if away, you will be scrambling to find a new provider in an emergency situation. Quick recovery: The recovery after wisdom teeth extraction is very individualized. The amount of discomfort, which is the usual determinate of recovery, can vary from one day to a week. The location of the teeth, erupted (visible) or under the tissue (impacted) can influence the difficulty of the extractions, and likewise the post op recovery. Next day recovery is not unusual and hopefully your experience.
