It depends: Plastic surgery recovery depends on the type of surgery you are having and how extensive it needs to be. A fully trained plastic surgeon that knows advanced techniques will be up to date on minimally invasive procedures. I peform a lot of outpatient advanced cutting edge techniques that allow quick recovery and return to work. Find a plastic surgeon who is fully trained at an accredited program.

Depends: On the procedure you are having. Some procedures - like fillers or coolsculpting - don't need any time off. Other major procedures - like a tummy tuck - definitely will require some time off. Communicate with your boss that you are having a surgery (you don't have to say what it is exactly)...And ask your surgeon to help you with an off-work note.

Varies.: Question is too broad in that every plastic surgical procedure performed has its own associated recovery time. There are some relatively minor procedures where patients can go back to work the same day and other procedures that require several weeks off work. Also, depending on the type of work a patient does, he/she may have to take additional time off. Individual pain thresholds differ also.

Depends on procedure: It really depends on the patient, the type of procedure and the type of work the patients does.
Occasionally the patient can return to work the same day, however usually days or weeks are required for recovery.

Varies: Much variation. Best bet is to see a facial plastic surgeon for evaluation and discussion.
