Choosing Plastic Sur: Choosing a doctor can be challenging at times, especially in this social media/marketing driven market that is out there. Start with board certification as it assures you they passed peer review. Ask you friends, or better patients of that doctor. Google that doctor for reviews. And meet the doctor and find out how he manages problems. Then chose the one you are most comfortable with.

Many Resources.: I would suggest starting with the american society of plastic surgery and/or the aesthetic society of plastic surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. then, i would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. See lots of examples of their work and preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done.

Ask friends and doc: The best method is to talk to friends that have had plastic surgery and to your own medical doc as they will have insight into who is good in your town. You can also check online reviews, but sometimes these are skewed because people are some times more prone to post a bad review rather than a good one. Good luck, dr t.

I would ask around your community who is well respected. I would also see who performs the majority of the type of procedure that you are looking to have done. If you are looking for a rhinoplasty or facelift then you should see someone who specializes in these procedures. If you are seeking body work then look for someone who's practice is dedicated to that type of surgery.
