Nothing is : Impossible, depending on circumstances, but this is not advisable under almost all circumstances. Consult your surgeon, but i would not recommend it.

No: It is impossible to numb the areas around the gallbladder and liver with local anesthesia. It is also quite dangerous to be digging around that area without a patient that is completely still. You will want to be asleep for this procedure.
