Yes: Your lesions can be either benign or malignant and it can be a difficult diagnosis even after removal. But some experts advise removal in either case since even benign growth can make surgery more risky later. The nerves in the area are important for eating, talking and - of course - your facial expressions and attractiveness. Find an ENT you trust to get this under control. Good luck.
