Do i have to get some blood tests before doing a lumbar mri without dye?

No: There is no need for blood tests before a non-contrast mri. However, if there is a chance that contrast might be used during the test, then it's easier to have a simple kidney function blood test before the MRI scan rather than having to get out of the scanner, have the test and then have to reschedule a scan with contrast.

When you get injected with dye to get X-ray (mri, cat...) are you suppose to feel sick afterwards. Doctor had me take some test to check my blood, i was diagnose with cancer but i'm in remission.
If you were suspected for a blood clot in your lung, could you get a CT, X-ray or MRI without contrast dye?
Blood test shows Creatinine 92 eGFR 58, Urine analysis shows hemoglobin 2 and Leukocytes 250. No fever or pain. This was a test for MRI dye. help?
