Ten months ago, i had a foot fracture that still hurts. now, ihave a dull pain in my foot and ankle that doesn't go away.it bothers me. could it be because of the fracture?

Depending on the --: Bone (s) of the foot fractured, it can take up to a year. You have had ct scan and if the fx has healed then you would benefit from intensive therapy to strengthened the muscles, as weak muscles do hurt. Otherwise another cause of the pain has to diagnosed.

Fracture: Healing time depends on what bone is broken , the nature of the fracture , ligamentous involvement , etc. See your podiatrist again for assistance. Good luck.

Foot and ankle pain: Most fractures heal within 2-3 months but this may be caused by something completely different than the initial fracture. I recommend he see a foot and ankle specialist to have this further examined.

Depends: Depends if the initial fracture healed properly in good alignment. The soft tissue structures around the fracture may need physical therapy for strengthening
