Is it possible that by taking anti-inflamartries it slows down healing of tendons if so what can i take as have swollen knee and ankle ?

Bone not tendons: They have a great effect on bone healing, but it does interfere with the inflammatory reaction so may have some effect on the healing process but in my experience i never had people who are on them stop.

Ice, elevation, ace: Suggesting ice, elevation, ace wrap, resting, short term of Motrin as needed base should be ok, not more then 7 days should not harm tendon.
