Pneumonia: Blood clots (DVT) around defib and pacer wires are very common and usually do not cause problems. Your symptoms sound more infectious than embolic. I would contact your doctor. While likely viral, bacterial infection is possible. A chest xray might be a good idea but your doctor would order this if he/she feels the need.
