Could be: Any one of 100's of causes. More common causes are gallstone or ulcer, but it could be tumor or cancer. Best to see doctor for accurate diagnosis.

Multiple causes: Your symptoms can be due to anything from irritable bowel syndrome to lactose intolerance. Discuss your problem with your doctor or a gastroenterologist.

Gastritis: Gastritis can do this and it is very common. The symptoms can be controlled with nonprescription antacids, acid reducers such as ranitidine and omeprazole GERD can do it but the same meds I mentioned can help. Gallbladder problems, like gallstones, and constipation can also be the cause. A high fiber diet or extra fiber is useful. if not better after these, see a doctor for deeper testing.
