See your doctor: Hormonal changes can result in irregular periods. At 16 years your body is undergoing lots of changes which is very natural. These irregular periods can be controlled. Normal: This can be normal for a young woman. Some women never get regular every month. Sometimes, your doctor can put on the pill to regulate you if your bleeding is causing problems especially social. It is common to have uterine pain when you have irregular bleeding as well.
