Irregular periods: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. Ask to be evaluated for polycystic ovarian syndrome as this is the most common cause. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do a home pregnancy test . There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.

Anovulation : Irregular cycles are usually due to irregular ovulation or anovulation but could be due to thyroid disease or pituitary disorders. See you doctor for evaluation and treatment.
