A member asked:

Is hydro therapy useful in treating crps? considering getting a small pool, but only if it'll help me keep moving with less pain.

May help: Warmth may feel far better to many crps pts, but not fully clear whether you could achieve same outcome soaking in bathtub. Suggest you try, on your own, with supervision, a hot tub, steam bath, and/or sauna, and decide for yourself. Hope it makes you feel better.

CPRS & Hydrotherpay: Each case is unique and what works for one may not work for another. Hydrotherapy may help. It should ideally be first tried at a specialized rehabilitation facility before the purchase is made. Unlikely to provide considerable improvement alone. Best when combined with a a multidisciplinary therapy/rehab/pain management based treatment +/- cam.
