Just had egd. multiple antral erosions. other symptoms: gas, off/on fever, abdo pain, extreme fatigue, diarrhea (sometimes w/blood) + occasional bm's w/nothing but bloody mucus. what might be wrong?

Difficult: Antral erosions can be painful but they usually don't bleed unless bleeding was seen on egd. Was there anything else seen on the egd such as celiac disease signs? Was colonoscopy done at the same time? Did you have stool studies done or ct scan of the abdomen? Any other labwork. Anything been tried as far as medication? Hard to come up with answers without more detail. Sorry.

Probable colon issue: The endoscopic findings of erosions do not explain your lower intestinal problems. You may need a colonoscopy or ct scan to diagnose your condition.

I've been eating healthy but continue with persistent nausea, gas, and loose stools. Stools are brown but formless resembling aerated soil and sinks rather than floats. EGD, blood tests, CT scan, X-rays all normal. Diagnosed with mild gastritis.
Diarrhea 18 of past 30 days. Can IBS be this extreme? Miserable! egd, cscopy, CT ruled most things out but did find hems, mild antral gastritis, polyp + visible inflam in sigmoid (bx normal).
Symptoms: dark loose stools, difficult/incomplete evacuation, severe abdominal distention from trapped gas, mucous. Diagnosed IBS. I think Proctitis?
Are very foul smelling loose stools in infants without fever, mucus or blood a sign of Amoebic dysentery ?
