Routine stuff...: You need to bring your medical insurance cards, your medication list, emergency contact information and some will ask for a photo id if you have one. You will need a ride home after the procedure due to the meds they will give you. Nothing to eat/drink after midnight the night before your test. Good luck!

Records, imaging: If you have had a ct of your chest and/or pulmonary function tests (or labs) those are useful, if you have seen another physician prior to your referral, bring her/his notes. Otherwise, the pulmonologist doing the bronchoscopy will order whatever he or she needs prior to the test. Remember not to eat 6 hours prior to the procedure, as you don't want to vomit into your lungs.
