How can i tell new people that i have 70% hearing loss in both ears?

Be frank.: I would just be candid with them. If you aren't able to hear them then you will be missing out on valuable dialog. Take care.

Audiologist: I agree with dr. Fowler -- you can simply tell people about your hearing loss. You can also see an ENT & audiologist for hearing aids. It could really help! and then you won't be missing so much of the conversations around you.
