MRI: The techs who do the scan are not qualified to give you a report. The MRI has to be read by the radiologist who will send a report to your doctor. Give your doctor a call and see if they can get you a report. It usually takes at least a day or two

Hearing loss: Your doctor ordered the MRI to look for some sort of physical lesion, possibly on or near the auditory nerve, that could be causing your hearing loss. This type of MRI is a great help for this sort of diagnosis, though sometimes no lesion can be found and other testing will follow.
