What food do you need to avoid if you have a hyperthyroidism?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eat sensibly: You'd get the idea from reading "pop" articles online that diet is the way to manage most disease. It is not. Hyperthyroidism is serious -- and used to be a major killer -- but if you're complying with treatment, you may eat what you like, sensibly. Like most other folks, you'll do well to avoid greasy, salty, and sugary stuff as you're able. Best wishes.
