See details: How was the cyst diagnosed? Did you have an MRI of the gland? If not, get one. Cysts are benign lesions as a rule but they still need thorough evaluation.

Biopsy needed: Cyst in parotid needs to be biopsied then proper treatment can be discussed. Please see an oral surgeon.

Needs evaluation: 80% of parotid lesions are benign meaning 20% are malignant. Has there been an ultrasound or MRI to confirm it is a cyst? Cystic parotid lesions could be benign lymphoepithelial lesion, warthins tumor, etc. Some cysts may harbor cancers in the wall so suggest ultrasound and needle drainage of cyst and needle biopsy of any tumor in the wall. Suggest ENT eval. Dry mouth not always present
