Yes: Four or five cups of green tea has almost as much caffeine as one cup of coffee. Green tea also has theobromine and theophylline (stimulants like cafffeine) which coffee doesn't have.

Green tea: does contain caffeine, but less than in coffee. You can also get decaff green tea. If you are looking for the benefits of green tea rather than simply a nice drink, consider EGCG capsules from the health food store. They contain the beneficial ingredient in green tea. Peace and good health. White tea is even more beneficial.

That depends: Yes - unless sensitive to the green tea. Tea is derived from the camellia sinensis tree. The leaves contain antioxidant polyphenols. Studies suggest green tea can assist with glycemic control, have an anti-carcinogenic effect as well as leading to a reduced heart disease death rate.

Green Tea: daily is fine unless you have a medical condition such as a blood clotting issue, then see doc. It has some caffeine in it but not as much as coffee so please consider that in your choices. You can also use EGCG capsules from the health food store which contain the beneficial part of green tea.
