Don't sweat a fever: Fever is your child's natural way of slowing an infection. Officially a temperature over 100.6 in a child is considered a fever. We do not worry about fevers until they are very high (over 104). In fact it is not recommended to treat a fever unless it is marking the child uncomfortable.
