Fever and Sinus: Fever does not usually occur with bacterial sinus infections. Only about one in six patients with bacterial sinus infections have a fever. A fever is more likely with a viral infection. Unless you have any facial or eye swelling, try to use just Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen for the fever. Saline nasal sprays are also helpful. If you don't' clear in seven days, go see your doctor for an antibiotic.
