Check his eyes: Be sure there is no scratch . He may possibly have pink eye from allergy or developing eye infection. Take a look, if not take a picture or video to show your pediatrician tomorrow. Sounds like it is benign but if it is moderate to large amount, you may need to go to er tonight or call on call pediatrician and ask for advice.
