Fever and hives: Being achy with low grade fever for six days is consistant with some sort of infection and several other things. The hives could be a result of the infection or an allergic reaction to something you are taking for the condition. It is time to call the doctor to get examined as this has gone on too long to ignore.

Could be many things: Body aches, fever & even hives can be non-specific symptoms of infection anywhere in the body. The hallmark symptoms of acute sinus infection are cough, yellow or green discharge from the nose, and tenderness above, between or under the eyes. These are areas overlying the frontal, ethmoid, and maxillary sinuses respectively. Dr. Pizzo is right. Sick for a week? See your doctor.

Are you sure it's: Hives? And if it is, i agree with drs pizzo and machtinger. Any acute infection which causes fever will stimulate the immune system and trigger hives.

Achy and Sinus: Rarely does a rash, live hives, follow a sinus infection. Anything that causes release of histamine, such an an infection or an allergen, may trigger hives. Most individuals with sinus infections do not exhibit hives. Look elsewhere, if hives are occurring. Think allergies or any other recent viral insult. Most sinus infections don't cause a fever -- stuffy nose, thick mucus, and pressure = sinus.
